Refund & Exchange Policy
At Taja, we want you to be happy with every order. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
1. Freshness & Quality Guarantee
We carefully select and pack all products to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
If you are unhappy with the quality, freshness, or condition of any fresh food item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We may offer:
- A replacement product
- A refund to your original payment method
- Store credit for future purchases
Photos may be requested to help us assess the issue.
2. Incorrect, Missing, or Damaged Items
If you receive:
- The wrong item
- A damaged item
- An item missing from your order
Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
Once verified, Taja will provide:
- A replacement item (subject to availability), or
- A full refund for the affected item
3. Product Substitutions
Occasionally, a product may be unavailable when your order is being prepared.
Where permitted, we may provide a suitable substitute of equal or greater value.
If you do not wish to accept a substitute item, you may:
- Reject it upon delivery, or
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery for a refund
You will never be charged more than the price of the item originally ordered if a higher-value substitute is supplied.
4. Returns & Exchanges
Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, we generally cannot accept returns of:
- Fresh meat
- Poultry
- Fish
- Dairy products
- Frozen foods
- Chilled foods
- Opened food products
unless they are faulty, damaged, incorrect, or unsafe to consume.
Non-perishable items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if:
- They are unopened
- In their original packaging
- In resalable condition
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or supplied in error.
